Coming friday, Makerere announces is new Linux chapter at a special Linux User
Group event at the Faculty of ICT.

One of us, Jubal Harpster, from www.agcommons.org will present what they are
doing with (FOSS) mapping in Africa.

There will also be speakers from TrueAfrican and DSMagic talking about how
they use FOSS in their businesses.

I think there will be a big crowd this time, professionals and students. A
good opportunity for networking and talking mapping informally.
