I am privileged to inform you that Dr. Dorothy Okello from Women Of
Uganda Network (WOUGNET) was voted the top ICT woman of 2009. Ms.
Grace Najuuko the chairperson , awards committee for Uganda ICT
excellence awards delivered the certificate on 02/02/2010 indicating
Dr. Dorothy was the TOP ICT WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2009.

On behalf of Women of Uganda Network, I would like to thank all
members who voted Dr. Dorothy and for believing that Women of Uganda
Network deserved it. As WOUGNET, we shall continue to promote and
support the use of ICTs by women and women organisations in Uganda, so
that they can take advantage of the opportunities presented by ICTs in
order to effectively address national and local problems of
sustainable development.
